About the walk
It’s World Wetlands Day on the 2nd February every year so what better way to celebrate our wonderful wetlands than learning about one of our unique chalk streams, the River Rase!
The walk is about 4 miles and will take in views of the River Rase along the way. The walk will be led by our Monitoring Officer Will Bartle who will be talking about our wonderful unique chalk streams, why they’re so special, what’s been done to help and how you may be able to get more involved.
The terrain is reasonably flat and suitable for most ages. Please be aware there is a small section along a roadside edge.
