The River Bain is home to many creatures big and small, from otters, egrets, kingfishers and numerous fish species, not to mention invasive species such as signal crayfish and himalayan balsam.

The Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Project would like to thank the Joseph Banks Society for their tireless help in getting the camera up and running.
The Joseph Banks Society has its base in a recently restored Grade II listed building in Horncastle in Lincolnshire, appropriately named The Sir Joseph Banks Centre. The building houses numerous society curated collections including a Reference Library, Herbarium and Tribute Garden.
